Full Day Walking Adventure

Western Brook Pond Picnic

Join us on this easy adventure taking in a picnic lunch and the take a boat tour of the famous western brook pond, a land locked fjord standing over 700m high and extending inland 16kms. Watch for moose, caribou and black bear on this interpretive walking adventure.

Tour Itinerary

• We begin our tour at 9:00am at the parking lot of Western Brook Pond.
• After our meet and greet with your guide and other travellers, we start with a brief orientation of the adventure and then begin with an easy hike to the Boat Dock.
• Once here we will board the 10am boat tour and take in the fjord.
• Upon return of the boat tour we will have a picnic lunch at the interpretive area and watch for moose and caribou. Following lunch we will take in another easy walk around what’s called the moose yard.
