Arrival to Deer Lake and transported to Gros Morne National Park. Once in Gros Morne we will have a welcome dinner and orientation about our trip. Accommodation: Rocky Harbour/Sally’s Cove
Day Highlights
Begin our morning around 7:00am with a delicious breakfast of lots of local jams and produce. After Breakfast travel to Western Brook Fjord to travel 16km by boat to where the backpacking adventure begins. Here we will climb with packs to the top of the gorge with a breath taking view from the top. Camp here for the night.

Day Highlights
The next couple days will be barren plateau’s and lush green valleys. Moose, black bear, and woodland caribou are often seen. Gros Morne Mountain can be seen in the distance at the end of day 4, weather depending of course.

Large erratic sparse the open plateau’s and barren tops as caribou stand on every rock to get in the summer winds to keep the pest at bay. Today we will hike to Ferry Gulch at the base of Gros Morne Mountain. In the evening we will hike to the top of Gros Morne Mountain at sunset.

Day Highlights
The last day in the mountains we pack up while and enjoy the sounds of nature around us. Once completed our journey, we will head to accommodations and a traditional Newfoundland Jiggs Dinner will be prepared right in front of you. Enjoy Oceanside dining at evenings end.
