Arrival to Deer Lake and transported to Gros Morne National Park. Once in Gros Morne we will have a welcome dinner and orientation about our trip.

Begin our morning around 7:00am with a delicious breakfast of lots of local jams and produce.
We begin by heading to the farm, here we will get a understanding of composting, organic gardening and limited space gardening.
Crop placements also discussed.
In the evening we will make pick some of the crops from the garden and green house for an evening feast.

Day Highlights
Today we head to the marshlands in search of local edible berries and mushrooms. We will harvest a mixture of different berries and explore the lowlands of Gros Morne National Park.
In the evening we will learn to make a few traditional Newfoundland jams with the local berries.

Day Highlights
Today we head to the ocean in search of the once plentiful cod and the tasty treat lobster. Here we will haul a few lobster pots by hand, a way each fisherman had to do it once before technology.
In the afternoons try your hand at some cod jigging. Learn how to fish with a handline on the open ocean.
In the evening board out shuttle and head to the Theatre Dinner at Cow Head, hosted by the Gros Morne Theatre Festival.
